About Us

Based in Edinburgh, Scotland’s glorious capital city, we chose to use the native highland cow in our logo and named our company Sonsie Face Ltd. The word Sonsie comes from 18th century Scotland, and has many meanings from ‘bringing good luck’ to ‘jovial’ and ‘cheeky’. Whilst it was once commonly used in Scotland, you’ll now be most likely to hear it spoken at a Burns Supper during the addressing of the haggis.

Our own highland cow logo plays a large part in our wholesale and retail designs and we also take inspiration from Scotland’s history, culture, wildlife and diverse range of historic and outdoor attractions. Our clothing is loved by those who come to Scotland to enjoy everything our beautiful country has to offer.

Additionally we provide custom clothing and personalised products for a wide variety of customers and purposes including clubs, businesses, stag and hen parties, retail outlets, events, farmers, and even a fisherman.

We’re thrilled to have built a reputation for supplying quality products with service to match, and our hope is to build on this in the years to come.
